Chances are that you’re reading it because I tend to think about music more than you do, leading me to know more than you about music. I have a pretty vast musical library that spans decades of American and World music, and I cull from it when I’m looking for a reference point as to what is going on sonically, lyrically, but also in life.
Or because I’m a hipster snob, and they usually seem credible.
